Is it free to upload a project on Itch?
Yes, it is! You are free to create pages and upload your projects at NO COST.
Advertisements will never be placed on your pages.
Is it free to sell games on Itch?
Itch has a “pay what you want” Model.
So you can choose how much money you want Itch to take, the default is set to 10% which is very fair compared to other companies who usually take around 30% cut; however, if you feel like this is too much or too little, you can adjust the slider from 0% to 100%.
How much can I sell my game for on Itch?
There are 3 different options on Itch:
$0 or Donate – When a user wants to download the project, a payment suggestion screen will pop up with the imputed suggested price, there is also the option to click “no thanks. just take me to the downloads” and the user can download the files for free.
Paid – The user will have to pay the minimum price or above to get ownership of the product. (As a seller you can adjust the price at any time and people who have already purchased will still retain ownership.)
No Payments – All payments are disabled on the project; all files are free to download.

There is a table which explains the difference between the two explaining:

This includes Unity, Unreal, Godot and more.
You can also upload:
- Html 5 format
